Sturgeon Protection Spring Training

  • UW-School of Freshwater Sciences 600 East Greenfield Avenue Milwaukee, WI, 53204 United States (map)

Supported by Milwaukee Riverkeeper

We are going to host our first spring protection training for our sturgeon protecting hikes or patrols!

We will have special guest, Aaron Schiller, who is the Fisheries Biologist for WDNR specializing in sturgeon, to give us some updates on sturgeon populations in the Milwaukee River and where we think they may migrate this spring.

Please attend only if you are interested in helping to go on “Protection Walks” in where you will have some flyers and business cards that you can distribute to community members and fisherfolk you meet along the river.

The meeting will be held in Room 1099 on the first floor.

If you would like to attend the meeting virtually, please email info@sturgeonprotectors.org and we will send you the meeting link to join.
